In 2025 Elder Bruno Dann and Tahlia Mandie published The Australian Ingredients Kitchen -Simple recipes using bushfoods. To my knowledge that’s the most recent bushfoods cookery book written by Indigenous persons. It’s given me the opportunity to look over the other Indigenous authored bushfood books I have (eight of them) and build up a menu from them. They cover the years from 2001 – 2025.
