In the first weeks of the outbreak of COVID 19 in Australia in 2020, State governments across the country instituted mandatory conditions on the movements of people in different settings. One was the ban on people leaving their house without reasonable excuse, ‘lock downs’ in popular parlance’. Shopping for food was an exception.
Notwithstanding this I wondered whether the lock downs had impacted on peoples shopping and dining habits. For example, many found their inner baker and there was exponential growth in the number of people who made sourdough.
I asked my Facebook friends what the impact if any had been for them.
